Ricky Gervais Clip

Does anyone doubt that Ricky Gervais is a great british actor and comedian? Here’s his vision on Hitler interpreting Nietzsches writtings. Recommended !
Spotback Personal Portal.
Spotback is a new portal that lets you get very personal with new interest Ajax features. Once you hit the site you can start to rate stories via slider instead of typical star ratings (I personally feel like stars are more usable as you don’t need to drag you can just click). As you rate items highly, new content “like that” will appear for you. Other nicely done features are:
- - Drop down categories
- - Simple links to other people who like the content
- - The “more…” link opens content up inline
- - Simple settings for turning on and off animation, tooltips, high grade bringing in the new story etc
Dreamblade Miniatures Strategy Game

Wizards Of The Coast is about to release a brand new miniatures strategy game called Dreamblade. The game is quite simple but fun to play. But that’s only half of the good news. The other half is the fact that a printable edition is already available online for free. You can download a map, a complete rulebook, a virtual starter set of 16 (!) creatures plus a bonus virtual booster of 7 additional figurines in PDF format ready to print & play. Of course the miniatures a paper-fold versions of the original plastic figurines and don’t come even close to their beauty. Still, I gives you the chance to play & experiment with the game before buying the plastic version. The rules are simple, only 22 page of rules incl. glossary and credits, but can lead to some complex situations, and that’s what make a game fun to play. I highly recommend you stop by the Wizards Dreamblade site and print&play.
Eve Collectible Card Game

CCP is hitting it hard, online and offline. The new trading card game created by the islanders looks very good on the outside. About the gaming experience I cannot say anything since I haven’t played any game yet. The rules are not that complicated and if you’re familiar with other CCGs like Magic:The Gathering, you might find them quite easy. You can now pre-order boosters and display-boxes at the Eve-Online Store. Also available are two Megapacks. Both Megapacks include a Core Set Starter Kit and a full Core Set Booster Display box! That’s a total of 471 cards! Estimated shipping date for pre-orders is at the end of July 2006, about 8 weeks before the game hits retail. The rulebook and a six card preview are available free.
ReadyMech Toys

Remember the days when you were a kid and use to play with paperfolding & glue? Here's something that will take you back. At the ReadyMech webpage you can download for free a large variaty of PDF Sheets with unfolded toys. You can just print them and start folding. The models are quite nice, having the feeling of BxH toys. Some of them have also a comic touch, like the PAL9000 inspired by the computer HAL from the movie 2001:A Space Odyssey. Not all of them are easy to fold but most certainly all are fun. They also make up for an interesting appearence on your shelf or desk.
Ratatouille

You thinks Cars was a top notch? Think again! Here's a look at the next Brad Bird/Pixar creation, Ratatouille. The trailer is out, and I'm sure you will all notice that it looks a million time better then Cars. Unfortunatelly you'll have to wait, cause the release is scheduled for summer 2007. Until then, here's some eye-candy:
New EVE Online trailer.

A new EVE Online trailer, named "No Other Destiny", was recently released by CCP. This video follows the superb release "Eve Never Fades", which featured Junkie XL on the soundtrack. The video contains mostly scenes of the grandiose mother-ships of all races. The quality of the image is great as well as the music on the soundtrack. If you want to be astonished by the graphics and world of EVE, it is highly recommended that you watch the video. Also, if you want to see how big a ship can be, in comparisson to the frigate you get when you start playing, check out the Ship Comparisson Chart. Eve Online Voice Chat!

Eve Online is just about to get better. CCP Games and Vivox announced at E3 that subscribers of the massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) EVE Online will soon have real-time, in-game voice communication as the result of a technology integration agreement between the two companies. This feature was also rewarded with the Stratics "Most Innovative" Award. Here's what Stratics had to say about it:
In recent years we haven’t seen many award-worthy innovations in the massively multiplayer online gaming genre, but this year that all changed when we saw what CCP was working on. The first is a feature which has been widely talked about, but hasn’t been implemented properly – or has been a scrapped feature for many titles: in-game voice chat. We had the opportunity to test the voice chat ourselves and there’s nothing more to say than the fact that it is crystal clear. CCP is taking things even a step further by testing the EVE Online client on PDA’s. That’s right. EVE Online might be coming to your handheld device – that’s pretty darn cool if you ask us.
I guess that with this feature on the way, there's no more doubts about Eve being the Best MMOG so far. If you're not convinced check out these links:

Two thumbs up for the icelanders at CCP and the best game made so far.
