New Icon Packs
![]()
Here are some new iconpacks for those who want a fancy desktop. First is the Moonlight Pack. This is not a new one, just that this time it comes in IconPackager format so you can apply it very easy. Second one, comes also in IconPackager format, but it new. LCDized brings a twist to the Mac-style icons giving them a high tech look. The third is an add-on for the Crystal B&W series, featured in earlier posts. The addon is very well made with some nice icons. All that’s left for you is to go and grab these desktop eye-candy.

Spotback Personal Portal.
Spotback is a new portal that lets you get very personal with new interest Ajax features. Once you hit the site you can start to rate stories via slider instead of typical star ratings (I personally feel like stars are more usable as you don’t need to drag you can just click). As you rate items highly, new content “like that” will appear for you. Other nicely done features are:
- - Drop down categories
- - Simple links to other people who like the content
- - The “more…” link opens content up inline
- - Simple settings for turning on and off animation, tooltips, high grade bringing in the new story etc

The icons are clean, stylish and very different from all the “mainstream” iconpacks out there. The pack is available for IconPackager users to apply in an instant. Download this pack and give your desktop a great look.

ReadyMech Toys

Remember the days when you were a kid and use to play with paperfolding & glue? Here's something that will take you back. At the ReadyMech webpage you can download for free a large variaty of PDF Sheets with unfolded toys. You can just print them and start folding. The models are quite nice, having the feeling of BxH toys. Some of them have also a comic touch, like the PAL9000 inspired by the computer HAL from the movie 2001:A Space Odyssey. Not all of them are easy to fold but most certainly all are fun. They also make up for an interesting appearence on your shelf or desk.
